A Review After the First Month

We started using the Bulk Organic Logistics Suite for our cassava starch shipments from Oyo State to our processing plant in Lagos. The first month was about testing whether the platform could handle the documentation load required by the Nigerian Shippers' Council. Our previous process involved three separate paper forms for each truck, and we often had delays at the port because of missing stamps.

The suite's digital manifest system cut that down to a single submission per batch. The real-time freight tracking showed us exactly where each truck was on the Ibadan-Lagos corridor, which helped us schedule unloading slots without idle time. We had one incident where a driver deviated from the route — the system flagged it within 15 minutes, and we redirected him via the dispatch channel.

Temperature logs for the cold storage units at our warehouse integrated directly into the compliance reports. That saved us about six hours of manual data entry per week. The only friction point was the initial setup of the IoT sensors on the older reefer trucks — we had to replace two power adapters to get consistent readings. Support sent the replacements within three working days.

After 30 days, our documentation rejection rate dropped from 12% to 2%, and we had a clear audit trail for every shipment. The platform does what it says. We are now planning to roll it out to our northern supply routes.
